Teaching Assistant (TA)
To apply for a TA instructor license an individual must complete and master Driver Education I and II (six semester hours - one semester hour is equivalent to 15 clock hours). A person who receives a license as a TA qualifies to teach in-car instruction.
Instructors under Tract A did not receive a secondary teaching certificate with an endorsement in Driver and Traffic Safety Education
This program is the ONLY online program in the State of Texas that can certify driving instructors.
